Ramsbury Primary School

School Council

The School Council is a group of children who are chosen by their classmates to help make our school an even better place. They are friendly, kind, and always happy to listen to ideas from others.
The School Council meets every other week to talk about what is going well in school and to share ideas or worries from their classes. Miss Jones and Miss Page take any points raised in the meetings to the higher powers in the school or Governing body to share their ideas and make sure their voices are heard.
All children in school can share their ideas with the School Council by talking in class or by posting a note into the suggestion boxes outside the classrooms. These are checked regularly.
The School Council does lots of great things for our school. At the moment, we are hard at work designing anti-littering posters to display around our school building, we have delivered notes of appreciation and even decorated the school Christmas tree! We are really looking forward to organising some fun activities around Easter for everyone to enjoy.
