After School club vacancy

We are looking for a reliable, energetic individual to support our After School Club, under the direction of the After School Club Leader.

The role includes:

  • setting up engaging play areas, making sure they are safe and secure
  • creating recreational activities, crafts and games
  • joining in with games and supervising children while they are playing, ensuring the welfare and safety of all pupils
  • building trust and supporting children to feel settled and happy
  • maintain positive relationships with both children and parents

Required Knowledge and Personal attributes

If you are caring, enthusiastic and enjoy working with children, then our After School Club Assistant is the perfect role for you. Our After School Club provides a safe, stimulating, and fun environment for children aged 4-11 at the end of the school day.

·         Previous experience working with children, or in a childcare setting, is desirable.

·         A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is essential.

Our very successful one-form entry school is situated in a lovely, thriving and supportive village, easily accessible from Marlborough, Hungerford and Swindon (20-minute drive). Salary 

Salary:                                                 Wiltshire Council Grade C:  £25,185 FTE

Start date:                                           As soon as possible

Contract:                                             Part time, fixed term. Term time only

Working hours:                                  Monday and Thursday, 15:00-17:00
