Teaching Assistant Vacancy, with an MDSA role
Ramsbury Primary School, near Marlborough, is looking for an enthusiastic, skilled and committed Teaching Assistant to work within our school. The role also includes a lunchtime Midday Supervisory Assistant (MDSA).
We are offering a full-time role, working Monday to Friday 08:40-15:15 or a part-time role working two days per week, Thursdays and Fridays 08:40-15:15.
The TA role involves supporting pupils learning, either in groups or through 1:1 work. The MDSA role includes the supervision of pupils, either in the lunch hall or outside, during lunchtime activities.
Required Knowledge and Personal attributes
The successful candidate will:
have GCSEs at Grade C/Grade 4 or above in English and Maths
have an ability to build good working relationships with both pupils and adults
have strong organisational skills, manage time effectively and be flexible and creative
hold high expectations of themselves and of the children

Salary
Start date: Thursday 3rd September 2026
End date: One-year fixed term, with the possibility of an extension
Salary: TA - Wiltshire Council Grade E £25,989-£26,824 FTE
MDSA - Wiltshire Council Grade B £24,798 FTE
