Full Time Teaching Assistant

Ramsbury Primary School, near Marlborough, is looking for an enthusiastic, skilled and committed Teaching Assistant to work within our school. The role also includes a lunchtime Midday Supervisory Assistant (MDSA).

The full-time role involves supporting pupils learning, either in groups or through 1:1 work. The MDSA role includes the supervision of pupils, either in the lunch hall or outside, during lunchtime activities.

The successful candidate will:

  • have GCSEs at Grade B/Grade 5 or above in English and Maths
  • have an ability to build good working relationships with both pupils and adults
  • have strong organisational skills, manage time effectively and be flexible and creative
  • hold high expectations of themselves and of the children

 he role is available on a fixed-term contract for 1 year initially, working 08:30 - 15:30, term time only.

We are a very successful one-form entry school situated in a lovely, thriving and supportive village, easily accessible from Swindon (20-minute drive) or East Wiltshire. Visits are welcomed and strongly encouraged.

Salary 

TA - Wiltshire Council Grade E £25,989-£26,824 FTE

MDSA - Wiltshire Council Grade B £24,413 FTE
