If you are new to our school then the following contextual information will be of use to you. The school is situated in the village of Ramsbury which is a medium sized village on the edge of the Marlborough Downs between Marlborough and Hungerford. We provide education for boys and girls between 4 and 11 years of age. We have a modern purpose built school with bright classrooms, well equipped hall, library and resource room. We have extremely good provision for information technology – we have a computer suite and each classroom has an interactive whiteboard. We are also very proud of our music facilities – we have a school orchestra, a choir and many opportunities for children to develop their musical abilities. Outside is a good sized playground suitable for games and additionally a level field adjacent to the school ideally suited for athletics and field sports. The field boasts a fine ‘activity trail’ of climbing equipment which has proved very popular indeed with all of the children. 

Children are nurtured here with great care and given many opportunities to flourish as they are central to all that we do. We want our children to remember their time with us for the richness of the experiences we provide and for the many personal achievements that we help to make possible. We are proud of our academic record but we are even more proud of our pupils’ personal development. The commitment, dedication and skill of our staff and the bright and lively learning environment that results from this are key to the pupils’ individual success.
